What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website sends to the user's device, where they are stored and sent back to the same website on later visits. Browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) works in a similar way: on this page we treat it in the same way.

Technical cookies and storage (always active)

They are needed for the app to work and do not require consent. They stay on your device and are not used to measure visits.

Measurement cookies (only with your consent)

If you accept them in the banner («Accept»), we measure the use of the app with Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited.

Purpose. Aggregate statistics on the use of the app: pages viewed, where visits come from (for example a post or a campaign) and a few key actions, namely uploading a photo, completed registration, first visualisation generated, request for a quote or for samples, purchase of credits.
What we do not do. No advertising use, no profiling, no Google Signals. We do not send Google any email addresses, names, account identifiers or names of uploaded files: page addresses reach Google stripped of every personal parameter. Google Analytics 4 does not record or store IP addresses.
Cookies used. _ga and _ga_4QCNTQEE3H, maximum duration 2 years. They are set on the iconicoriginal.it domain and are the same as those of the website www.iconicoriginal.it: anyone moving from the website to the app is counted as a single visitor.
Retention. Measurement data is kept in Google Analytics for 14 months and then deleted automatically.
Transfer outside the European Union. Google may also process the data in the United States, through Google LLC. The transfer is based on the adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission on 10 July 2023 for the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC adheres, and on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.
Legal basis. Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Art. 122 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code).
Without consent no measurement tool is loaded and no data is sent to Google.

Third-party services

Fonts, images and the finishes catalogue are hosted by the app itself. Credits and samples are paid on Stripe's page, which applies its own cookie policy. Links to social profiles lead to the respective websites, which are subject to their own policies.

Managing and withdrawing consent

You can change your mind at any time with the «Cookie preferences» link in the footer, which reopens the banner.
If you choose «Essential only», measurement stops immediately and the _ga cookies are deleted.
The website www.iconicoriginal.it remembers its own choice separately: if you accepted there too, you can withdraw consent from its «Cookie preferences» link.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
